Because rest feels better when it’s responsibly made
At Mamu, slowing down isn’t just a vibe, it’s a value. We create luxurious, long-lasting pieces made with materials and methods that love the planet back. Every collection is crafted in small, thoughtful runs with fabrics chosen for their feel, longevity, and low impact.
Our Materials
We go beyond buzzwords — here’s what makes our fabrics different:
Organic Silk & Stretch Silk
Elegant, breathable, and endlessly wearable. Unlike traditional silks, ours is washable and woven with a touch of stretch for comfort and shape. Naturally thermoregulating, silk keeps you cool in the heat and warm in the chill, making it a seasonless investment.
Airy Alpaca
Ethically sourced and brushed to cloud-like softness, alpaca delivers warmth without weight. It’s naturally insulating yet breathable and more sustainable than conventional wool, thanks to alpacas’ gentle environmental footprint.
Soft Modal Jersey
One of the world’s most sustainable fabrics, modal is made from fibres of renewable beechwood trees in a closed-loop process that reuses water and solvents. It’s soft, drapy, and adapts to your body temperature — keeping you cool when it’s warm, cosy when it’s cold.
Organic Cotton
Every cotton piece we create is made with GOTS-certified organic cotton, the global gold standard for organic textiles. This ensures the cotton is grown without harmful chemicals, uses less water, and is produced with independent oversight to protect both people and the planet.
Cashmere & Cashmere-Silk Blends
Prized as the softest fabric in the world, cashmere offers feather-light warmth and natural breathability. Blended with silk, it gains a subtle sheen and fluid drape, creating timeless pieces that last.
Cloud-Soft Jersey
Our signature fabric designed for cocooning softness. Feather-light, fluid, and irresistibly smooth, Cloud Jersey transforms everyday essentials into quietly luxurious staples.
Silk Accessories
Small luxuries, big impact. From scrunchies to bonnets to pillowcases, our silk accessories are crafted from pure silk — never synthetics — helping reduce friction, retain moisture, and protect delicate hair and skin.
Our Partners
We work with like-minded mills and makers who uphold the highest standards of ethics, quality, and sustainability, from fair wages and safe working environments to toxin-free production methods.
Our Promise
We’re not perfect, but we’re committed to progress. With small-batch, demand-based production, careful sourcing, and an ongoing focus on reducing our footprint, sustainability isn’t a side note — it’s the Mamu mindset.
Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps taken by Mamu Dream to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within our business operations and supply chain.
At Mamu Dream, we believe luxury, comfort, and sustainability should never come at the expense of human rights. We are committed to conducting business ethically, responsibly, and transparently, and we maintain a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of modern slavery, forced labour, child labour, servitude, and human trafficking.
Our Business
Mamu Dream is a UK-based lifestyle and fashion brand creating elevated restwear, sleepwear, and loungewear crafted from carefully selected fabrics including organic cotton, silk, modal, alpaca, and cashmere blends. Our collections are produced in small, thoughtful runs with an emphasis on quality, longevity, and responsible sourcing.
Our Supply Chain
Our supply chain includes fabric mills, garment manufacturers, packaging suppliers, warehousing and fulfilment partners, and logistics providers. We recognise that the fashion and textile industry can carry heightened risks relating to labour exploitation and unethical working practices, particularly within global sourcing and manufacturing networks.
Our Commitment
We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all business relationships and to implementing systems and controls designed to safeguard against modern slavery within our operations and supply chain.
We seek to work with suppliers and partners who:
- Provide fair wages and safe working conditions
- Comply with applicable labour and employment laws
- Prohibit forced, bonded, or child labour
- Support ethical and transparent business practices
Due Diligence & Supplier Standards
To help identify and mitigate risks of modern slavery, we aim to:
- Work with reputable suppliers and manufacturers aligned with our ethical values
- Conduct appropriate checks before entering into new supplier relationships
- Seek confirmation that suppliers comply with local employment laws and internationally recognised labour standards
- Review supplier relationships on an ongoing basis where appropriate
Where concerns are identified, we reserve the right to investigate further and take appropriate action, including ending supplier relationships if standards are not met.
Responsible Sourcing
Our wider sustainability commitments support our approach to tackling modern slavery. These include small-batch production, responsible sourcing practices, and a focus on creating long-lasting products rather than overproduction.
Risk Assessment
We recognise that certain areas of the fashion supply chain may carry increased risk, particularly textile sourcing, garment manufacturing, and raw material production. We aim to reduce these risks by maintaining visibility across our supply chain and prioritising long-term relationships with trusted partners.
Training & Awareness
As Mamu Dream continues to grow, we are committed to increasing awareness of modern slavery risks within our business and ensuring ethical considerations remain part of our sourcing and operational decisions.
Looking Ahead
We recognise that addressing modern slavery is an ongoing responsibility and we are committed to continuous improvement. Over the coming year, we aim to continue strengthening supplier transparency, formalising supplier expectations, and improving supply chain traceability where possible.
